Educators & partners
Good teaching begins
with good support.
The people asked to teach environmental understanding deserve accurate material, a sensible progression and the confidence to examine a question with their learners.

Working with educators
The material is shared.
The teaching is situated.
The proposed module packages combine student text, lesson plans, activities, teacher guidance and assessment. They need to be useful in the actual room where learning takes place.
Receiving educators will help establish prerequisites, local examples, language, curriculum connections and the appropriate level of assessment. Their judgement belongs in the design.
What a partnership
would involve.
The proposed local route is a hosted programme with an established education organisation or teacher-training institution. A clear agreement should connect the common resources with local responsibility.
Begin with a setting and a question.
Identify the receiving institution, the school or community context, the learners and an environmental question that can be answered with suitable evidence.
Match the curriculum and language.
Confirm the actual syllabus, age group, teaching language, prerequisites, timetable, accessible formats and any additional local-language support.
Build and review the local case.
Agree the sources, authorship and scientific and educational review. Substantive local research and teaching-case development require explicit scope and funding alongside curriculum matching.
Agree responsibility before delivery.
Name the coordinator and establish permissions, safeguarding, data responsibilities, reporting, finance, material reuse and the institutional handover.
Ask what learners understood.
Use appropriate baseline and follow-up tasks. Record learning and teacher use, with targets and sample sizes agreed through the delivery design.
Programme development
Contribute to
the understanding.
Educators, curriculum specialists, researchers and prospective receiving institutions can begin by identifying the part of this proposed programme to which they could make a substantive contribution.
